11th Moscow International Exhibition “Sport and Leisure. Spring 2004” opened in Expocentr

The 11th Moscow International Exhibition “Sport and Leisure. Spring 2004” / MISS 2004 organised by the international exhibition company ITE opened on March 3, 2004, in the Expocentr at Krasnaya Presnya.

MISS is traditionally held twice a year and is the only one exhibition of sport goods, sport wear, footwear and accessories in Russia focused at specialists, wholesale buyers, representatives of shops and sport clubs. This exhibition provides them with an excellent opportunity to get acquainted with the latest sport products and order new collections.

Ross Stobie, Chairman of the Board, ITE LLC Moscow, said: “The exhibition continues its successful work meeting the growing demands for sport goods and services in Russia.”

More than 250 companies from various countries worldwide participate in the exhibition. Most of the exhibitors are well-known manufacturers and distributors of sport goods and equipment: Sportmaster, Dunlop, New Balance, Finn Flare, Baon, Technogym, Shimano, Atemi, Al Sar, Sport City, Union Sport, Girvas-M Sport, Velomotors, Grishko and others.

The exhibition features casual and sport wear and footwear, bicycles and motor technique, tourist equipment, sport equipment and fitness wear, sports outfit.

For the convenience of visitors the 10,000 sq m exhibition space will be divided into 7 specialized sections: Sport and Leisure, Sport and Fashion, Outdoor Leisure, Bikeland, Sport Facilities Equipment, Diving, and Fitness and Wellness.

As stated by A.D. Ageev, Deputy Chairman of the Committee for Physical Culture and Sport of Moscow, at the official opening ceremony of the exhibition “We consider Sport and Leisure Exhibition to be an important event in sport world and believe that this show will give a positive impulse for the development of sport industry.”

Exhibitors
